About Us
Back in the 1920’s, David’s Grandfather, Maurice Flynn, owned and operated a successful drywall contracting company in the Niagara Falls region. Over 70 years later, David King decided to put his skills, experience and reputation to “the test.” In 1991, he founded D. King Drywall. David’s dream started with one employee, and a very old 1972 Dodge pick-up truck.
Today, 35 years later, David runs the company alongside his son Dustin and over 20 skilled tradesmen. D. King Drywall is one of Ottawa’s most respected and established drywall contractors.
It all starts from the moment your contract is signed.

Services
- All critical light areas are level 5 drywall finish
- Drywall installation by a profession boarding crew
- Drywall mudding and taping by experienced tapers
- Tapers peel all butt joints and tape with fiber fuse. Butt joints receive four coats
- Prime check and final check
- Drywall sanding
- Drywall/sheetrock repair (cracks, holes, etc.)
- Venetian plaster for accent walls, bathrooms, ceilings, and fireplaces.
We are the leader in our industry for finding the newest tools and material to make our finished product the best it can be. One product we lead in the drywall industry is Ezy Reveal for finishing around windows and undercut base.
